PARTS-PUBLISHER, Docware's core product, is designed to manage your spare parts business from one database. PARTS-PUBLISHER can also manage your service and manual information from the same database. This data can then be published to the Web, to paper documents or to a CD.
PARTS-PUBLISHER consists of a database, the workbench and the viewer/browser software.
- Database- The PARTS-PUBLISHER database bundles spare parts data (parts lists, exploded views, photos, graphics, construction plans, prices, descriptive documentation like manuals etc.) from various data sources (ERP, PPS, PDM, DMS, CAD system etc.). The data can be integrated in the catalog database manually or via an interface directly from other data sources. In the PARTS-PUBLISHER catalog database the data are kept media-neutral.
- Workbench- With the workbench (editing tool, production environment) you can automatically create print, CD or Internet catalog with the single-source method. The output of the data for print, CD or Internet catalogues can be triggered "on demand" at the press of a button. Thanks to extensive configuration options (without programming), individual catalog or information systems can be produced (machine, device or user-specific, for individual customers etc.).
- Viewer/Browser- Your customers or employees can use the electronic catalogues you provide with the free viewer, which you include for the users of your catalog on CD-ROM. It is not necessary to install the software on the end user's computer.
Insert the CD-ROM and your spare parts and service data can be displayed - simply and without special IT knowledge. The PARTS-PUBLISHER Internet catalogs can also be viewed installation-free. All common browsers are supported.

- PARTS-SHOP- Provide customers a shopping cart with SAP-certified OCI (Open Catalogue Interface). Simple connection to merchandise information or PDM systems (e.g. SAP R/3, mySAP, PSI Penta, Navision, Baan, Agile etc.) and/or e-business systems (e.g.SAP Internet Sales, SAP Online Store, Intershop, ClickCommerce etc.). - Lattice 3-D Software- Automatically convert your 3D drawings (data of all common CAD systems) to the data format XVL in order to directly integrate your 3D models in the spare parts catalogue or in other technical documents (manuals, installation instructions etc.). Use the extensive XVL editing and publishing tools. For example, create exploded views from your 3D models at the press of a button, and realize animations in a fraction of the usual time.
